Fools Rush In Rondine
The fools rush in without a single care;
Trusting with their body or with their heart
not visualizing their doom from the start;
Spread wide open and so willing to share
caught in a web of suddenly secure;
Blissfully nonchalant they feel so smart;
The fools rush in,
slapped silly they aren’t able to prepare;
A gentleman surely needs a sweetheart
‘I’ll be his rock we’ll never be apart.’
Seduction of delusions of grandeur,
the fools rush in.
