Fools Never Cry

I felt like a fool when you said goodbye
But that can't be right for fools never cry
They warned me one time that you'd fly away
And fools don't listen to what wisemen say
Now I'm a man who's drowning in sorrow
Can't face today and much less tomorrow
There ain't no good place that I want to be
I'll stay here or leave don't matter to me
There'll come a time that I'll love again
But I'm still a fool that don't wonder when
For I yet see you walk back through that door
And I'll be that fool to kiss you once more

I felt like a fool when you said goodbye
But that can't be right for fools never cry
