Foolishness

when you entered me
 my godI knew the meaning
of submission
and with all the wisdom of my female ancestors through the ages
knew in that second
what to submit meant
finally
nothing to do with feminism or
independence
for a woman who submits to her man
is most
powerful of all
holds the power of all mankind
how wrong we were
to worship at that false flame
how we were mislead
and how much we missed
oh if I could go back and submit to you
ten times a day
my love
I would do it
to experience
the greatest intimacy the strongest sexual power
belonging
submission
yes

The only word you missed was "surrender" ... time for another poem? Well done!
