Foolish

I search your eyes for who I am Who I have become As if I can’t find meaning in My own reflection I listen for what you call me Who I am to be As if what you see matters more Then what I’m meant to see I ask you to love me Like I want to love myself Foolish I am to ask you for What shouldn’t lie anywhere else

I do so totally agree with this. We must never be so wrapped up in anyone that our happiness totally depends on what they think of us. We must find our happiness within ourselves. God Bless, JB
