Fool Who Had Fought a Duel
we had found a fool
was willing to fight a duel
learn how went to school
many classes took
he would read book after book
beside babbling brook
if ever in doubt
unsure what it was about
had taken wrong route
when we heard some say
he will always go astray
he did die one day
is no longer here
after he would disappear
wife shed one more tear
was only one son
many bad things he had done
famous with a gun
we toiled and tarried
away body was carried
in grave had been buried
