Food For Vultures

Vultures flying high
Circling in the sky
Preying on the victim as they pass by
Vultures being metaphorical
Wishing that you had an oracle
Hold up, this might be too real
You know something you won't, can't feel
Foes outweigh friends and friends hold nuts
I'm giving it to you raw, straight drop no cut
First they find your grind
Don't be blinded by these vultures
Circling around manipulating your mind
Cause they all coming at the same time
Before you know it, you done lost it all
Reminiscing on days where you used to ball
But nobody wants to hear that mess
To make it out alive consider yourself blessed
So leave the drugs and the streets alone
Or end up dead or be sentenced to never coming home
Stay away from the vultures
They only wanna see you die
They'll eat you up and won't say good bye.

Wow, James. Your poem is raw and deep and so sincere. It would be most inspiring to anyone tempted to give in to drugs and for them not to end up messed up in the ugly world of street drugs.
