Food For Thought Ii

There is more to this law than just saving a child’s life.
It’s the governments control of your daughter or wife.
My thoughts on abortion will always be a moot point.
Morality is something only God should anoint.

In an ideal world, our children would be raised right.
There will always be evil that lurks in the night.
There are perverts and rapists, and those who seek power.
We also have the righteous in their Ivory Tower.

Imagine your pregnant wife had a complication tomorrow.
Would you do all that you could, even beg, steal or borrow?
Think of that doctor who just gave you the bad news.
Abortion is against the law, so you must pay your dues.

Your wife and unborn child are now both doomed to die.
There are no exceptions, it’s illegal and that’s why.
Our government shouldn’t dictate, what’s morally right or wrong.
It’s the woman’s choice, and that’s where it should belong!

Yes, it's a woman's choice, and it would be good for her to have support from her loved ones and her partner, be that male or female - indeed, from anyone who can give support. I’m not worried for myself but I’m scared to death for my family and friends. Maybe the Supreme Court justices need to serve 4 year terms like the president.

Kim Rodrigues June 26, 2022 at 11:34 AM It goes to the states for debate. Hopefully the courts will decide wisely how to handle difficult situations fairly. Too many deaths. Pets are treated better. The kids are our future. I know many whose docs told the mothers they were unviable. Funny but they flourish. I had a senior chief tell me to consider an abortion. So we each have our stories. What if the government sees your baby as a burden on society and your choice to keep your baby is taken away. It’s not that far fetched Kim. Look at China, their right to choose has been taken by the government. Just saying
