Fondest childhood memory
Our fun-filled childhood years were free from fears
Vibrance of innocence was then at its peak
We learnt as we played day after day
Dancing with life cheek to cheek
Our ego was then not in focus
Soul presence was aglow in the heart
Each morn at dawn we communed with God
Breath by breath feeling within bliss ignition start
In those days we assumed all saw God as we did
Therefore for us it was not a bragging right
We journeyed to heaven as we pleased
And saw human auras shining bright
Heaven on earth we lived as we liked
Living from heart there was no pretence
Our heart was pure and we forgave easily
We lived breath by breath in the present tense
Both graveyards and temples for us were same
We judged no one by the clothes they wore
We were resplendent in the light of bliss
Grace so in-pouring from every pore
Sadly as we grew up the current ebbed
Consciousness shifted from heart to head
Innocence died and so light of soul dimmed
The price paid for not being by bliss beats led
