Fond Inspirations

Oh, dear, sweet poet, from your heart thou write
Your words that touch so soft and sweet
For through your verse, you so ignite
Sparks a void, held once replete

Alive, you make this reader be
Your words, they now inspire me

With fond adoration and respect there, too
I praise your words, their meaning, strong
They make my spirit fly so true
To where it do so much belong

So, grateful I am, my poet friend
Your words inspire to no end

In the morning sun or in the moonlight beams
The light from your words are brighter still
As they create and tell, too, of said dreams
To let this reader have a fill

I thank you, friend, oh poet, great
T’is you now I will emulate
