Following Hope

Until a new type of feeling sprouts.

And over one simple night, the wrath within is now drought.

I have no memories of being normal.

So this new influence I wish was terminal.

If only this feeling would not stray-

I would become a martyr in this decay.

But a train in the distance that seems so gentle-

Is coming fast- ready to dismantle.

I felt like a laughing child-

For the first time, my guilt is mild.

But my laughter is making others afraid.

These hoards of people at first felt like a parade.

My greedy delusions of happiness.

I was soon forced to confess.

And I will soon realize how I am bleeding out.

A normal life shall never sprout.
