Follow Christ
This year apart from celebration
Why not aim for eternal jubilation
A life with Christ after salvation
Make a resolve to read Bible every day
Understand what it wishes to convey
Practice same for joyous doomsday
Gracious Lord came down to earth
As of goodness there was dearth
Wanted to bestow all a life of mirth
Every line of Bible, it's preaching
A perfect way of life it is teaching
If followed gives bliss far-reaching
Don't just say happy birthday to God
Understand your actions that are flawed
Practice scriptures lead life unflawed
That's the best gift you can give to Him
Your suffering it will dim, joy will brim
Effortlessly through life you'll swim
