thats interesting.i have just begun to study them,they were mentioned on a tv show and the name caught my eye,so i have begun to glance study material about them in my spare time.this haiku was written from maybe a marching soldiers point of view,maybe,or a woman of the ottamna empire singing a song of deeds done,maybe.

My native Romania was challenged by the Ottoman Empire during 500 years. The turks took our young boys and turn them into soldiers for the Empire and raped the women.... We had to pay fees to them but we fought so very much against them that Romania never became a province of theirs, ever. All the courage and battles are depicted in the Romanian literature. Very interesting.
