Notes About The Poem

A Midnight Fog — HIGHFIELDMEDIA

Not for Contert

Fog of Midnight

Quiet-falls
Dark quells the last light
Streets sleep in a hush
Midst, an opaque hush descends
Nothing-moves

Veils draw close
Old mind garden fades
Memories blur and shift
A cold and silent hand erases
The path back.g of Midnight

The world dissolves
Into a soft, shapeless gray,
A memory made real,
Where the streetlights become dying moons
Then vanish

This is wonderful poetry but check her syllable rules again. Also I am pretty sure she asked for 2 verses only. I think you are the only one so far that has used the title of Fog of Midnight. Best of luck, Hilo

I have an interest in Nette's subjective titles, more of an intrigue, actually. And I have posted several of her's in any of her given contests, and in doing so, stayed within her margins if submitted or not, for not only the challenge, but for the viewership is wonderful.

Admittedly, I strayed from the margins on this one, but will post, Not for Contest, as I did with this one, after the fact, sorry, Aloha, William--thank you, Andrea. Btw, I entered, 'Eye,s in Fireglow'.
