flying in the universe
a proponent of astral travel
I flew into the outer limits of the milky way
the planets smiled at me
I felt they were cheering me on
since this is a dream
I needed no special equipment
flying without oxygen or wings
enjoying the boundlessness of open air
my body felt better now than when I was in my twenties
my asthma and shingles are gone
my arthritis is a distant memory
I feel alive, and loved
should I land on another planet or keep flying?
I loved knowing that whatever happened,
it is my decision and no one else’s
I decided to stay here, where I feel beloved
