Flying High

The old canary lost her whistle,
And only had one eye
She was a wily old bird
But boy, how she could fly

Her wings had lost their colour,
As had her other eye
She loved to sit in tall trees
From whence she liked to spy

She looked up to the heavens,
And gave a contented sigh
She had lived a good life
Now it was her turn to fly

The flight back home won't take too long... Nicely penned, Shirley.

Great message, Shirley. No matter had bad things are, be thankful. They can always be worse.

That's for sure, Daniel, you don't have to look far to realise this. I hope you are having a pleasant day. Take care, Old Duck
