Fluttering Snow Flakes
Snow fluttering to the ground,
misty flakes, pure and white,
blanketing everything around,
creating a cold winter’s sight.
Flakes falling from the sky,
a cold breeze whips the air,
without shelter we will die,
nestled by a fire, we share.
Sun glistening upon the ice,
reflective brilliance so rare,
captured not thinking twice,
venturing outside on a dare.
Angelic setting but not tame,
illusions blowing in the wind,
frigid cold, you take the blame,
knowing where you’ve been.
Splendor, lost in the icy cold,
the mystery creates the rapture,
adventure and intrigue so bold,
hearts and souls are captured.
