Flu

Throat dry
I wonder why
Throbbing, scratchy, tight

Nose blocked
Sneezing and coughing,
Dizzy spell
Am I unwell

My temperature is up
No appetite
My body is in a fight

Aches and pains
Exhaustion too
I definitely know I have the flu

Rest and hydration
Are the order of the day
With plenty of showers
To make this go away

Will I survive
Will I make it through
Who will win between me and the flu

Guess what
I am still here
To fight another day
Thankfully my body beat the flu away

So True. Good write. Sure would be nice if people would stay home when sick. They make others sick. Have a wonderful day writing......
