Flowers of Rose

Anacreontic verse
April 5 2016
Unfold a power
Of buds yet known
Let a hand
Touch the thorn
That also grows
Be ye yet still
For I have
Come to seek
An aroma
My love
Wants to keep
Red deep scarlet
Yellow also blooms
White as driven snow
Petals soft and glow
As a sunsets
Along the shadow
Of a rose
In the night
A faint moisture
When the Sun awakes
Alas the drops
On the silkin flower
Kissed by the
Morning dew
And love escapes
Soon to awake
The thorn that falls
While the Sun
Rises
