Flowers Bloom

In a world so far away in time
A field of leaves filled up the space
Casting their shadows, a paradigm
Crowding out all others in their place.

Then a single flower did peek thru
Pushing the leaves out of the way
A touch of light, the seed renewed
One lonely flower here to stay.

Our minds are not unlike the leaves
Kind words as if flowers will bloom
Fill the mind with thoughts they weave
Letting in love and forcing out gloom.

Absolutely beautiful, the rhyming and meter were very smooth and clean. I really enjoyed this.

Thanks Chris, I got this inspiration from a beautiful photo of a field of green grass with a lonely red flower peeking up all alone. A lot of my inspiration comes from nature photos. So glad you liked it!
