Flowers'

The flowers on this planet are gorgeous,
They sway in the wind gently, they are glorious.
Delicate as they are, they are a real pleasure,
A very precious gift from our Creator.

The scent of a flower, the beauty,
Majestic, different in all it's aspects, surely'
From the desert lily to the beauty of a rose,
Makes young and old, want some of those.

They capture kids, adults, young lovers,
To possess them, to cherish a moment forever.
The thoughts and facial delight of a love one,
To see this gift of love, and see them smile, is a satisfaction.

Nothing satisfies people like a flower,
Anytime given by your love, anytime or any hour.
They do pass and shrivel away in time,
Only to be pollinated, reborn, again in their way, very sublime.

Like humans who Spiritually believe in God,
We have to bloom in this life, to die, and be reborn in His Kingdom,
We are born like a perfect flower,
To fulfill God's destiny, to be with God, in these last terrible hours.

To every life, some joy and some struggle enters, Robert. But the uplifting qualities of flowers have always delighted me. It's been years since anyone sent me flowers, but I do love seeing them in God's natural settings outdoors. As my Dad wrote in his living will, he did not dread the passage from this life to the next. Such a beautiful poem, my friend. Thank you so much for your encouragement. Love and blessings, Carolyn
