Flower Show

One Sunday we went to this flower show Some exotic varieties we got to know We saw elaborate blossoms in every hue Red, green, yellow, orange and blue The ferns and foliage were beautifully displayed Tastefully decorated creepers adorned an arcade Dahlias in many colors surrounded an old tree A bewitching sight to see, one would agree The yellow Gazanias looked up at the sun Rooted in their pots they were having some fun The purple baugainvilleas, dressed like a queen Inspired little Reina to gaze at the scene The red and pink Carnetions popped their heads The green grass-like leaves served as their beds The red Kalanchoes bordered a pond A white model of a crane appeared beyond A concept bonsai park Ikebana stole the show The stunted plants appeared never to grow My wife got enthused at the brisk sale of potted plants To satisfy her, I had to provide the grants
