Flower Fairies

In the garden of life where the fairies called home...
laid a pathway of lessons created of stone.
If one strayed off the path...a new road would appear...
some filled you with joy...others filled you with fear.
Although these roads were created by choices one made,
others were brought on by foundations already laid.
Each fairy began at the place that was home,
to begin their adventure as they started to roam.
Some passed through the land of contentment and joy,
while others tumbled through the dark land, which was out to destroy.
There were also the lands of success and defeat,
where both flowers and weeds bordered the streets.
By this time in their journey, some fairies gave up,
drinking from discouragement that was poured in a cup.
One day sat a male fairy in the land of despair...
who happened to look up...and there in the air..
flew a beautiful she fairy who shined from within...
with hair that was blond and very fair skinned.
A glowing warmth filled him throughout...
hope filled his heart as he started to shout.
He shouted so loud...it was heard everywhere...
that even the she fairy stopped in mid-air.
Once their eyes met...their hearts became one...
they now traveled together towards the bright, blessed sun.
To the land of commitment where all flowers grow...
nurtured by white light which made each flower glow.
Now their making a home on a bright yellow flower...
Isn't it beautiful to feel God's loving power.
