Floating and Flying

I see a mushroom tipped ninety with stem to right cap to the left shooting out streaks of anxiety where color was now is bereft. What was I saying? Can't keep track... Must be having some kind of flashback.

Just for the record, I eat mushrooms several times a week.. shitake and portabello being my current faves (though I've enjoyed many varieties through the decades).. their texture helps me not to miss the consumption of flesh which I eschewed some time back.. This poem is about what I saw when I looked at the pic John posted for his contest.. I'm aware that I frequently see things differently than others :)

You should be careful eating mushrooms, they say some can be lethal to life. Great write, dear friend. P.S. I replied to your soup mail too

Either you ate some other mushrooms or you have early dementia. heehee. From the poem's title, I will guess the first one!

I am glad to read this, will read it some more it keeps calling for me to read again. hmmmm I am sort of into hallucinations lately, I think I will write quite a bit on them once I get started, your mushroom is right in that neck of the woods so to speak. Good stuff. Tnx. But for now, it is saurkraut and weenies and fried potatoes for din-din, I think this might bring on some hallucianations in my sleep. LOL
