Flirting With Gods

If the gods are mysterious to men
Aren’t men mysterious to gods?
For they we create to befriend
How did they become beliefs we fought?

There are no gods
No one will believe
Is there room for that thought?
Or are you satisfied with just life you live?

Would you think for a question?
When answers you know is in-justifiable
An uncertainty in constant yearn
When make-believes are simply insatiable

Did them or us create either to be?
What then have they or we have created?
Of goodness we relied upon either to see
When it’s our minds to know not God who flirted

Thus… would you have known?
Beliefs in either are never the need
Misguided simply we see lives thrown
When it’s all but only assurances we seek
