Flights of Ice Dragons

Wander now in solitude
and see flights of ice dragons
come in heaven’s multitude
in circles like old wagons.

Above the valley ascensions
shimmering in the sunlight
they capture the attention
in captive wonder, delight.

Do not fear the magical
it will come with such surprise
in ways it seems logical
yet beyond a man’s devise.

In dreams, they were fantasy,
a man could journey yonder
to learn ways of ecstasy
his thoughts now free to wander.
