Fleeting Moments
Fleeting moments, oh how they pass
Like wisps of smoke, or blades of grass
They come and go, with fleeting haste
And leave behind a lingering taste
Some moments bring us joy and light
Like laughter shared on summer nights
Or tender words whispered in the dark
That kindle flames within our heart
Other moments bring us pain and sorrow
Like tears shed on a bleak tomorrow
Or harsh words spoken in anger's heat
That leave us wounded and incomplete
But all these moments, good and bad
Are part of life, both happy and sad
So cherish them while they are here
For soon enough they will disappear
Fleeting moments, precious and rare
Handle them with love and care
For they will never come again
And memories are all that remain.
