Flaws of Love
Whenever I feel like just giving up
Whenever my dreams just fade away
I just return to my heart
Because I know that I'll find comfort there
And when the world is closing in
Hope comes and saves me once again
Well there's never been a boy who’s luckier
Lost in the ocean of broken dreams
Well there's never been a more grateful man
Though I don't show it a lot
I know what I got with you is lost
And if there's a storm that's closing in
You use to push it away
You use to understand
And I'd do anything just to please your dreams
You use to do anything
Just to know that I can hold on to you
Well you know every time I look
At that expression printed on the page
I think I hear you, whispering the magic
And the compliments I need so badly
Now I've been running circles
Around the notion that you'd find me baby
One day maybe,
But all the physic powers of suggestion
I've been sending your way, so can't you hear me say?
I want your arms all around me,
I want your face, all around me,
I want your perfume, all around me,
I love the way you smile
Love can move some one to a place inside the heart
I thought I'd change my opinion again
But you moved me in a way that I've never known
You abused me in a way that I've never known.
When the madness stops then you will be alone
So you're the kind who deals with the games in the mind
You confuse me in a way that I've never known.
You just keep me contemplating,
That your soul is slowly fading
I used to move you in a way that you've never known
Then I accused you in a way that you've never known
But you hurt me in a way never known
