Flames

8/1/17

For such selfish gains
You may eternally burn in flames
Every single day, experiencing torment and pain
Bound with chains
And tattered clothing covered in bloodstains

Or you could freeze
Due to being unprepared and the temperature getting extreme
Followed by an arctic breeze
Across the land or seas
Above below and through the trees
Despite what you believe
I wouldn't be so naive
And always put your heart on your sleeve

Yup I'll tell you exactly what is up
From dawn to dusk
Go ahead and push your luck
But if you want to be a schmuck
Then you just may get struck
By lightning more than once
Until you're permanently stuck
And turned into dust
Above the earth's crust

Always out to take advantage of others and what they have to offer
Putting your family at risk, including your own daughter
Involved in innocent lives being slaughtered
In this life, you do not have much longer
Going to get taken out by something unforeseen and stronger
Left out in animal ridden waters
