Five Years With You
The scars of betrayal take me to the time,
When you confessed to me that you didn’t want to be mine.
After you left my heart, it feels like I don’t have much!
I think it’s because I’m addicted to you and your unintentional touch.
I know it’s weird that I still care about you and always will…
It’s due to the magical effect your aura had on me, while we were creating sweet memories in that
home, down the hill.
Your ocean eyes used to provoke me to just gaze at you,
How come I never noticed, a reflection of someone else too!
I loved it when you would make me laugh,
Never expected a time that would break my fragile heart!
Life used to hit different when we were together,
Life’s sometimes pleasant, sometimes annoying, just like the changing weather.
Five years were just not enough,
They passed so quickly, I couldn’t experience much!
I guess I ain’t aware of my current stage,
Am I happy, sad or just worried about our bond’s age?
No worries! I hope these scars will disappear soon,
Otherwise, I will not be able to stop myself from portraying you & me, together in that beautiful
moon!
