Five Years Have Passed

FIVE YEARS HAVE PASSED

Another Easter morn has dawned,
Five years have now passed by
Since you, dear Father, have passed on
To your home in the sky.
And just as surely as I know
You’re safe now in His care
In that place of which you wrote so,
I know I’ll meet you there.

April 2000 in memory of my dad
