Five Papayas and a Basket

Five papayas and a basket
Are brought by Granda Mel;
The sweet fruits are given
To her five friends very well.

The first fruit is handed to Raquel,
A good poetess from Lebanon;
Her heart is filled with joy,
Due to kindness of Grandma Mel Pilon.

Brother Jun and Brother Clauds
Hold their respective papayas;
Their eyes smile and sparkle,
Because Grandma is not biased.

The fourth fruit is gladly received
By the writer and singer Gigi;
She happily hugs Grandma Mel,
Because of her generosity.

The basket and the fifth fruit
Are for Bernard to get;
For he is the last to take one
Of five papayas and a basket.
