Fish On!
With a flick of my wrist and a cast so precise.
As I waggle my lure, trying hard to entice.
“Fish on!” Is the shout, with a voice full of glee.
As adrenaline surges, I'm wild and I'm free.
There is nothing quite like this. It's an angler's dream.
"Fish on!" Is the call, It's what anglers scream!
With the rod in my hand, I feel alive with the thrill.
For every great angler knows, patience can kill.
On the bank of a river, whilst approaching with stealth.
Connecting with nature is good for my mental health.
Lost in my thoughts, whilst in nature's embrace.
All those troubles forgotten put's a smile on my face.
There's magic in moments, the exhilaration it brings.
Where time drifts away as if carried by wings.
Each cast holds potential of what can be done.
The comfort of knowing that this day's just begun.
Each cast that is made with aspiration and hope.
Lost in a moment, where my thoughts they elope.
With memories made, which forever will last.
There is always the time, for one more last cast.
So nothing compares to this tranquil retreat.
Each moment spent fishing makes life feel complete.
For when I hear “Fish on!” oh what can compare?
One of life’s simple pleasures found out in fresh air!
