First Time We Met
The first time my eyes held yours,
I knew in my heart, I'd want nothing more.
The way that you smiled, the sound of your laugh,
made me forget all the pain of the past.
So in love I had fell through,
My soul was filled with want for you.
A want so consuming, like a fire it burned,
and still to this day, for you, I yearn.
Your love is my light, my guiding star,
my hand of comfort in a world so dark.
My entire world, my everything,
since the beginning, my biggest dream.
I love you so much now and forever,
My only true wish is that we are always together.
For nothing will change what lies in my heart,
from the first time we met.
