First Sight

You stood where you stood, Unassuming, unaware, I stood where i did, In a helpless stare. Then the forces that be conspired, The sun grew bolder, The breeze retired. The raven curtain was finally drawn, How i wish i could go on. With words i have always had a way, To my tune i could always make them sway, Till the innocence beaming from those eyes impaled me, It was the first time my beloved words failed me.

GREAT!!! I like the flow of this short verse. It's like a performer in front of the crowd, or a person speaking making a speech aloud for the 1st time. James :)
