First Love
FIRST LOVE
Mirth fills, fades all gloom
When in life first love blooms
Tender, sweet and curious
That gentle touch so glorious
Smiles exchange, matching gaze
All time spring and cleared haze
Sun-kissed mountains, shiny brooks
Moistened grass- beds, secret nooks
Spray of care, endless talks
Sleepless nights, clasped hands, long walks
Fresh roses, tulips, tabebuia
Enchanting love's scent like magnolia
If sustains forever this relation
Magical life, mystique sensation
If crashes mid-way, deadly heart- break
Even magnolia withers, only tears spake
Dark clouds mask the moon snatching moonlight
Time grabs back those gifts of lucky happy delight
In closed chapters first-love finds its place
Time's lesson through this jolt to embrace
bitter pains and wait with bleeding heart
to weep in rain praying for a new start.
