First Love

There's something about the stars that reminds me of you. Old memories, same stars. Our love declared, written in the stars. Your eyes, your touch, your smile. That same smile, that made me happy... if only for a while. The heart moves on, some say though the rhythm of my heart speaks only of you. Your eyes, your touch, your smile. You engraved within my heart. That last kiss left my heart turned to stone. My heart will never beat the same as it did when I was with you. And now with you gone, memories haunt me when I dare forget you. Mistakes were made though you were never one of them. There's something about the stars that holds me a slave to old memories. Your eyes, your touch, your smile. Oh, the beauty of first love.
