First Kiss

when a smile was locked in first kiss
syntax skipped superfluous words
in a magic spell, eyes forgot to blink

surfing and drifting along a shore
missed lyrics of a song played out
thoughts caffeinated in exotic drink

a fragrant evening of white clouds
wished for storm and incessant rain
a night to be moist, tender and young.

a moon incarnate clasped in her sky
wished to sear and swelter in love
in their paradise close, with stars clung.

spark of silent fireworks in their eyes
two pairs of wanton ravenous gaze
infinite moments made a rendezvous

euphonious murmur of sweet nothings
inebriated voices turn to whispers
two hearts jingle, I beat only for you.
