First Kiss

First Kiss We just were playing chase, On a humid Chicago night, Laughing and sweating. Summer moon just rising tenderly  in the sky, just to our right. Suddenly, there we were in the bushes, My girlhood ended when on my lips, Donnie's own descended, so tenderly. So soft and confectionary sweet was he. The moon was the minister, I opened my eyes and stared up at him! The moon winked back and said.. Good going, kid~then the sky became Wonderfully dusky and dim. My cotton candy, Donnie! I shall forever remember you. And the song you wrote about me? Decades later, I remember each loving word, too.

As I suspected a romantic, a huntress seeking true love! It comes when you least expect it! Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Hi Jennifer, I was not a huntress, then. I was literally Caught in the bushes. Perhaps, a huntress in training? LOL! I was only a blushing 12 year old. Donnie was quite a pianist and song writer@ age 12. Starry night wishes, Panagiota
