First Hi
At night I wait for you to appear
It may take hours but I am here.
I sit and watch the time go by
Wishing for that first hi.
We talk, we laugh, we flirt a bit
I’ll take whatever I can get.
So when you leave I get sad
And sometimes it seems I am mad.
But I am not, just want you to stay
But then I think there’s another day.
