First Glance

There I was, feeling the breeze, The sand on my feet, How I want time to freeze. I try to reminisce my childhood, teary eyed, in the shore where I stood. Holding on to memories like this, It's as bad as it gets, recalling people you dearly miss. I was walking there on my own, preserved in a bubble, while listening to some music on my phone. Then I glance at a distant, astonished by the guy for an instant. How he was indeed amazing, looking at the sunset, loving what he's doing. Now I was struck by his first glance, even though it was merely by chance. But I won't forget his smile, for I felt a little Happiness, even just for a while.
