Speaks Volumes Poet Couplet

Notes About The Poem

First Draft

"Work in Progress-A poem saved but never completed or posted- the idea is fine, the structure needs a lot of improving" The Poet

Poems from over the world Africa to Thailand
From Yorkshire to the Scottish Highland

Every one a jewel in the right light,
Every one is good, every one is right

Poems on Soup are like links in a chain
Reading each one gives us something to gain

There are many whose poems are extremely fine
They know who I mean, some have become friends of mine

Some touch our heart, make us laugh or think
But there's no such thing as a weaker link

 Unfinished

Anne-Lise Andresen January 31, 2024 at 6:10 AM ... links in a chain ... well said ... Speaks Volumes January 31, 2024 at 9:13 AM Suzette wants us to post old unfinished first drafts. This one became forgotten before it was made worthy of posting. I found it when looking at my Doc file of unfinished poems. The idea behind it was good, and I thank you for your acknowledgement Anne-Lise. One day I will complete the chain. Best wishes Wen
