First Day At School

It was the first day at school,
first four hours,
Away from Ours,
It was the first day at school,
With lot's of excitement,
With lot's of tears.
It was the first day at school,
A step out to a new World,
Where everyone was unknown,
It was the first day at school,
Holding mother's hand,
Walking towards the gate,
It was the first day at school,
I entered the school,
Some nostalgic and Some in Joy,
It was the first day at school,
The first Bell rung,
The first teacher sung,
It was the first day at school,
Teacher didn't teach,
and taught us how to preach,
It was the first day at school,
I was shedding tears to go,
And was not ready to return Home now,
With an excitement for the next day to BOW.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
