First Date

Our first date didn't turn out so great
You were so close to me that I couldn't concentrate
I told you that I didn't want to be out to late
So you took me to McDonalds for cheap dinner date

You had the nerve to call the next day
And ask me if everything was fine
When you took me out for a burger and soda
Instead of a nice steak and a glass of wine

I couldn't help but lash out at you because you ruined my night
Then actually thought when you got home that everything was alright
So please lose my number and stay out of my sight
Because If I ever see you again we just might have to fight

Dear Gibbs, This often happens in love when we are unable to understand the feelings of others. Nice poem. Thanks!
