Firm Decision
Make no longer vain resolutions
It’s a firm decision to see the change,
To avoid disappointment, and much
Frustration. Make that decision, and see
Your life rearrange.
Resolutions don’t work, and will
Never do. Just heated emotions there and then,
Resolutions to lose weight, and stay that way,
Soon the enthusiasm subsides the very next day.
Resolutions, will power, may partially get by,
Things will change for a short moment, no reason why,
Decisive, conclusion, come thick or thin,
Decision, not resolution will always win.
