Fires Last Life

Gray vague sweet memories plaguing me like a darkened fire that is slowly diminishing, burning flames flickering in the shadows trying to hold onto that last piece of undampened wood, it's slipping away fighting within a cold eerie hand pulling it deeper into the depths of eternity Kicking grasping not completely comprehending the absolute of the situation, not willing to change in that stubborn way that objects do, kicking and screaming for you to breathe life inside this dying creature as it fades deeper into that dark abyss known as life and this is the cycle that remains forever unchanged
