Fires Down Below

When you hear
the war drums banging,
sense the bloodlust
running high

Set your eyes
upon the heavens
Your salvation
draweth nigh

For the world
has been turned over
and the bugs
and worms are loose

And your enemy
fights harder
'cause he's headed
towards a noose

As he marshals
all his angels,
wreaking havoc
'cross the land

To the last
he proves defiant
as he takes his
final stand

He has lost
his share of battles
Yet he thinks
he'll win the war

But the Winner
was decided
at the cross
forevermore

Give no place
unto the devil
Do not fear
a beaten foe

Just remember
Who has saved you
from the fires
down below
