Firefly

Last night I woke up with the dread on my temples and that odd haze in my head "This'll be over one day, once we're all dead." But I can't die firefly living forever more in the sunlit sky You can't strip away the wings you gave to a man. "Just take that release, just take the reaper's hand." But I can't die firefly living forever more in the sunlit sky I'll be breathing in the end. Someday I won't, but I know I will this time. "You need to let go, let the death bells chime." But I can't die firefly living forever more in the sunlit sky
