Fire

Tempestuous wildfire is raging; leaves behind charred forests. Humans are careless beasts; camp fires and cigarettes destroy all life. Easily avoided with caution; forests could be saved.

This is so true. I don't understand how people can be so careless. Two young boys playing with fire burned over a thousand acres on our mountain ridge that burned for over three weeks because fire trucks could't reach the area. A great Sijo you have created M.L. Aloha, Connie
