Fire

Fire And there you stood, Burning bright, Your bright light, Welcoming me on that cold night. Ah! What bliss it was to feel your warmth, Through the cold winter night, The night on which I was warm, Under your welcoming light. Blazing from the wood, Worth a few pennies, You gave me comfort, Not available to many. For giving me warmth I thank you, O Fire You were in the battle of winter, Indeed my squire.
