Fire

the flames were growing deep within her, she could feel them.
the flames were growing bigger, she could hear them.
the blood was pouring from her, they could see it.
the flames were consuming her body, they could hear it.
fire tearing through her body burning destroying caressing.
cleansing her body of every last little sin.
she screamed and she screamed till the fire burned through her lungs.
spitting fire like a dragon as it melted her tongue.
unable to cry unable to scream, she slowly began to smile embracing the flames.
she dropped to the ground her body no more than ash.
the fire no more just a memory of the past.
